This task asks to Join R6 to multicast group 236.6.6.6. R2 shoudl be able
to ping this address but R4 and R5 should not.

Right in the question it says Do not configure an RP or use any ACLs or
traffic filters

the DSG shows a solution where an access list is created for purposes of
SSM. Even though this is not using the ACL as a traffic filter it is still
infact using an ACL so i argue that this is violating the requirements

My solution was to put static mroutes in R6 for the addresses of R4 and R5
pointing to null 0. This way RPF check fails and R6 does not respond to R4
or R5. This did work R2 was able to ping 236.6.6.6 and R4 and R5 could not
(before adding the static mroutes R4 and R5 could ping 236.6.6.6).

Any thoughts as to my solution vs the DSG solutiong?
