I started to get "religious" about practicing labs in as close to the exam 
environment as I could. This is because they do not let you change it. You 
cannot use your own mouse, keyboard, and monitor for example. 

I also dropped the use of "art supplies" that I might become reliant upon and 
learned to diagram using a mechanical pencil and blank sheets of paper. At RTP, 
they had banned any of my own supplies and would put out some colored pencils. 
I just trained myself to go "cold turkey". :)
