To answer your question - Yes.

Things like this happen with GNS3.  All we can do is put up with it.

When I had dramas like this I used to do things like change interface
and/or cards in the router.  This may work for you (it also may not
work).

The fact is GNS3 is free.  If we were to pay for the "real" hardware
it would cost thousands.  All we can do is just accept it and be glad
that it works when it does, and thank the developers who offer their
time to create a free and fantastic product for us to help us with our
studies.
