I don't have a lot of experience with these setups; however Matt does and used GNS3 for his preparation, so he may be able to help you more.
If you are using real switches then you should only need one NIC per router interface (Ethernet that is). R1 = 2 R2 = 2 R4 = 2 R5 = 2 R6 = 2 R7 = 2 R8 = 2 R9 = 2 B1 = 1 B2 = 1 B3 = 1 ------- = 19 The best way to do this would be to purchase a bunch of multiport NIC's along with some USB NIC's too. Don't forget to follow Tyson's blog on setting this up as well http://blog.ipexpert.com/2010/07/05/gns3-on-ubuntu-910-the-ipexpert-way/ HTH Thank you, Steve Di Bias Network Engineer - Information Systems Valley Health System - Las Vegas Office - 702- 369-7594 Cell - 702-241-1801 [email protected] -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, June 14, 2011 11:06 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] lab with gns3 I just got the end to end R$S Looking to set my lab up this week.
