Has anyone done this task?
Page 256, Where you configure Area 15 (BB1, R1, R2) make R2 a stub no-summary
and R1 a stub. I can't get the default route in R1. I also don't understand if
you apply a distribute-list in on R1 with an acl saying permit 0.0.0.0, deny
any any, how BB1 can still see the routes.
I had a hard time getting up the link between BB1 and R1, i didn't use the
initial configs so i set it up from base, somehow an ethernet interface doesn't
support ip ospf <> area commands ? But that all works now and my output on R1
shows BB1 as neighbor, R1 has the loopbacks for 2 and 3 (although can't reach
them but i guess that's normal as a stub route) and R2 has a neighbor relation
with R1 via the dialer, amongst others.
I just don't see the default injected with that cost of 15, while i did set it
up under area 15 under R2 with the distance 14 command.
