I am on a client site and have recommended a Cisco product (yes, available from CCO), which I have used in the past. What this thing does is it uses SNMP, CDP and a whole bunch of other things to scan a network, get an inventory and advise on what is currently supported, what is EoS, EoL etc. I remember you needed a CCO account, and then you needed to do an online 4 hour (or so) training course. Once the course was completed, the product was available for download. Now, I cant remember for the life of me what this thing was called. I dont _think_ it was NATkit (on a side note - to get NATkit do you need to do a 4 hour online training first?). Any help would be appreciated.
