Has anyone else experienced any CPU usage anomalies using the IPExpert GNS3 .net file? When I attempt to connect R2 (for example) to the frame switch, as soon as I try to pass any traffic over the circuit, everything grinds to a halt. It's causing me to get inconsistent results with my troubleshooting and basic frame relay configurations.
I've got the same setup on a lab server with plenty of ram/cpu running Ubuntu, and also on my laptop with 4gb of RAM and Windows 7 64bit. I'm able to replicate the issue in both scenarios. My two constants between these are the .net file, and the IOS image I'm using, which is c3725-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T5.bin. I've gone through the idle PC value hoop jumping already, which does seem to correct the issue after the fact, but again as soon as I try to send traffic (pings for example) i get two or three successful packets and then everything crunches to a halt. Any advice is appreciated! I have 2 months till my attempt, and I have scheduled many Proctor Labs rack sessions between now and then, but I'd like to be able to supplement that with GNS3 if possible. _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com Are you a CCNP or CCIE and looking for a job?
