i think i was to quick speakin sometime it's work sometimes not i'm trying to do the Vol1 Lab2 , and when i try to ping even the vlan interface on the cat1 it's impossible
R7 and R6 can ping each other via cat2, but they can't ping their vlan interface on cat2 R7 can't ping R5 via cat 2 then cat1 if someone has already encouter these problem i need your help is it the ios ? the router model 3725, or anything else ? thanks ________________________________ De : "Di Bias, Steve" <[email protected]> À : jammers yann <[email protected]>; IPExpert Online <[email protected]> Envoyé le : Vendredi 5 Août 2011 15h26 Objet : RE: Re : [OSL | CCIE_RS] gns3 pb Oh cool, I only mentioned it because I’ve witnessed some very odd behavior in GNS3 on both Windows and Mac OS-X where two interfaces are configured, one for VLAN X and one for VLAN Y. The issue is that even though the interfaces are in the correct VLAN’s according to the running configs, on VLAN X actually exists in the VLAN database, and VLAN Y isn’t there. Now this is where it gets fun, when you go into VLAN database mode and try to add the VLAN you’re presented with the following error: SW1#vlan database SW1(vlan)#vlan 200 VLAN 200 added: Name: VLAN0200 SW1(vlan)#exit % not enough space on flash to store vlan database. trying squeeze...First create squeeze log by erasing the entire device At this point the squeeze fails and we have to resort to more drastic measures % error squeezing flash - (Missing or corrupted log) Error on database apply 40: NV storage failure Use 'abort' command to exit SW1(vlan)# The only way I’ve been able to add any new VLAN’s when this occurs is to delete VLAN.DAT, erase flash, and then reload. SW1#erase flash: SW1#delete /force /recu vlan.dat It seemed like you may have been suffering from this same issue, however clearing the ARP in your case is a much simpler resolution than this one J Thank you, Steve E.
