While completing this section I found I couldn't bring up the OSPF adjacency because the PPPoE client had a /32 mask which made the address of the peer on a different network. I was able to get this to work by adjusting the mask using a DHCP pool with the origin ipcp command. While reading the DSG I was surprised to find that this issue was not encountered. The only thing I can see I've done differently is incorrectly making R2 the PPPoE server instead of the client but I don't think this would have anything to do with creating or fixing the issue. Can anyone explain why the DSG didn't have this issue and I did? cheers, Ben. _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com Are you a CCNP or CCIE and looking for a job?
