Hello to everybody,

I have a problem with procedure LAPB to multilink, secured by
eap.
In LAPB, since there is no master/slave relationship, the sender
uses the Poll bit to insist on an immediate response. In the
response frame this same bit becomes the receivers Final bit. The
receiver always turns on the Final bit in its response to a
command from the sender with the Poll bit set. The P/F bit is
generally used when either end becomes unsure about proper frame
sequencing because of a possible missing acknowledgement, and it
is necessary to re-establish a point of reference.
However eap does not work, just a little time
Belo the config

interface Multilink78

PPP "reliable-link" and multilink are mutually exclusive features.

Hi,

I know that IGP by default load balnces 4 links but say if i have 6 links
and all have equal metric.
Now how will a router decide which 4 links to select out of the 6 links
availbe to reach a specific destination ..
I think it is based on next hop router id >?

When you think about Layer 2 of the OSI model, we need MAC address information
to identify stations on the LAN. This information is "encapsulated" onto the
data. At Layer 3 of the model, we need IP address information. This is
"encapsulated" on the data.

So you see, the process of adding additional fields worth of information to the
data is termed encapsulation. By the way, when a receiving machine strips this
information of, that is called, de-encapsulation.
