I've just begun as well with the IPexpert BLS. Never taken the lab, haven't taken the written yet. I'll learn enough along the way to pass the written. My current skillset is somewhat beyond a CCNP. So far I'm having fun. Its a long road ahead. My goal is to simply get through the volumous, excellent material that IPexpert has provided in a year, avoiding burnout. I've got GNS3 with their topology, do as much of labs during lecture it will allow. Block off time on the weekends to do Proctor Labs. I'm using Dropbox to store all the downloaded material. I'll add technotes and config guides along the way. I'm using Evernote (awesome app) for all my note taking. I have a Safari Books 10 slot Cisco Press library subsciption. I'll pick up good deals on ebooks along the way for my tablet or phone. Just picked up Routing TCP/IP Volume I, 2nd Edition for 20 something bucks at Amazon. Worth owning as a long term reference guide. Basically all my material will be in "the cloud" easily accessible no matter where I go.
