Gns3 issues can create problems while studying. Did you speak to an ipexpert sales guy about vracks. They have great deals, sometimes 2 for the price of one.
Also consider buying a used cat3550, asa and 2 x 2600 routers to type the commands during the week and get onto the vracks over the weekend to practise integrated technologies. Getting some hw helps if you are working and cant use the full 8 hour slot during the week. Ipexpert has a doc on how to stimulate the hw on dynamips.
