Hi all, new to this d-list, I have read some of the archive entries but couldn't find the answers to the questions below, so here is my first mail. Working thorough Lab 7 - One day lab experience and I have doubts or found errors (maybe)
task 3.6 On the solution guide the default originate is configured on R8 but it should be on R7, right? Task 5.2 - possible routing loop? We are asked to summarise 192.168.0.0/16 on two interfaces connecting R6 and R9. I am now in the habit of leaving debug ip routing on at all times. The routers were going berserks. Had to switch an interface off to recover. I have applied a distribute list from R9 to R6 to solve the problem Has anybody seen this issue? task 5.5, the solution guide mentions that it is good practice to have connectivity to all your interfaces unless otherwise specified and then it goes on to demonstrate how to achieve this with a series of route maps that redistribute connected routes into the various protocols. If an interface is participating in a routing protocol let's say rip and I redistribute RIP into OSPF, then the routers participating in OSPF get the routes of the interface participating in RIP, right? I don't need to redistribute my connected routes as the guide implies. right?
