Hi Amit! For the First Part:
Ping will work as source address of R2 is known to R1 as its connected. For the Second Part: Ping will not work as source of R3 is unknown to R1. Although you will see the route as valid and best in R3 , R1 will not have a route back to the Source i.e R3. Thanks, Nandan Mathure.
