John,
I am working on GNS3 topology and initial config and would be interested to
see spreadsheet that lists which interfaces go where so that I can verify my
work. I can also share my .net file.
I have been also experimenting on LAB13 and everything seems to be working
fine.
About vlan database - You are right. I have to reenter vlan database every time
I reload my routers with NM16ESW
My goal is to use one .net file for all Volume 1 labs if possible.
Here is my .net file

Subject: Re: [OSL | CCIE_RS] Initial Configs for GNS3
Hi Guys,
The script that Bob posted does all the necessary changes to the routers, or at
least tells you what to change manually. However it does not cover the CAT
switches. I have been experimenting with a set of configurations for them and
found that it all seems to be working for lab 13, eg the loopbacks on the cat
switches are being advertised where they should be. I think they will work for
labs like that, where the Cat switches are taking part in routing and providing
basic switch connectivity. I will tidy these up tomorrow and post them, along
with my spreadsheet that lists which interfaces go where so others can
experiment along the same lines.
One thing you have to do is reload the vlan database each time, these don't get
saved along with the configs. (Unless of course I am doing something wrong!)
regards
John
