vtp utilises vlan 1 for propergation of updates which also happens to be the 
native vlan, if the native vlan is changed to 783 then vtp will continue to use 
vlan 1 but will just be tagged with a vid if encapsulation dot1q or isl is used

so question is in scenario below was vlan 1 allowed on your trunk or was is 
being pruned as this would prevent vtp updates

feel free to correct my misunderstandings
