Yes, it is.
F/Relay is just another function that the Router performs.
The only issue is that the Serial Interfaces in the NM slot will be used for 
F/Rso you can't use them with any other Layer 2 Protocol
But of course you can use the other Interfaces for normal Routing.That is, the 
Ethernet ports and any other Serial Ports that your Router might have.

Hi all,
 
My cisco 3620 that was functioning as a FR switch has abandoned me and I have 
run out of routers. Is it possible to run a router as a FR SW and as router at 
the same time? If you are familiar with ipexpert topology, I was thinking of 
running R5 as FR switch and as R5, what do you think?
