1) The only way I can see to delete the current VTP Domain name is by
deleting the vlan.dat file. However, if you just want to change the domain
name simply do a "vtp domain xxxxx" in configuration mode.

The path for the vlan.dat file is:

2) flash:vlan.dat

So, to remove it simply use "delete flash:vlan.dat" and confirm that that
is what you want to do when it prompts the question(s).

3) All switches must use the same version.
