If you are configuring an LACP etherchannel, you can bundle up to 16
interfaces with 8 of them active.  The other 8 interfaces will be in hot
standby mode waiting to become active.  I you want an interface to be
preferred then you can use lacp port priority x.  The lower the number, the
higher the priority.  That will guarantee that your interface will be active
as part of the bundle if you add more than 8 interfaces to the group.
