All,
Yesterday I passed on my second attempt in Dubai. All offer some
advice to
the candidates, but you've probably already heard this a thousand
times.
Focus on the sections independently. I thought for sure I failed TS
as I
thought I missed a 2 and a 3 point ticket (some questions over some
of my
output vs what was in the exam). Turns out one of those questions
was
correct.
Going into the Config section thinking you did not pass TS is tough.
No
matter what, try and focus on the task at hand. When I went into the
config section, even though I though I failed TS, my goal was to pass
config.
Check your work regularly and at the end. Double and triple check.
If
there is ANYTHING that looks suspicious in the question and you
aren't 100%
and you have time, check the DOC CD at the end.
If you can't get something working, and it is dependent on the rest
of the
lab, hard code it and move on. If they ask you to setup Multilink FR
or
PPPoE and you can't figure it out, just hard code it and move on so
you can
do the rest.
Cisco loves to test you on Cisco services. Make sure you know them
and
know them well. Make sure you know everything, but specifically the
Cisco
proprietary stuff.
Thanks to all who helped in my CCIE journey!
