Dear Samir/Akash,

I have redistributed ospf into eigrp in routing domain to get my real time
enterprise requirement done so you need redistribution besides you run only one
protocol throughout your domain & where you need communication to be extended
keep it going just use redistribution! keep one thing in mind always use clock
wise redistribution don't use both anti-clock and clock wise redistribution it
will definitely put your network in loops!

Akash,

people need PBR to control the routing or to filter the routes I'm using it as
well because want to redistribute only specific subnets not all the static or
connected routes of my devices!

you can use tag as well to get this goal done, routing tag is great option to
filter some specific routes like if 9 routes are coming from ospf neighbor and
you want to deny one out of 9 routes then you need route tagging.

you need Route-map with ACL & tag applied for specific ACL (route)

Example:

R1
access-list 101 permit ip 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.0 any
access-list 102 permit ip 192.168.0.0 0.0.254.0 any

route-map tag permit 10
match ip address 101
set tag 200

route-map tag permit 20
match ip address 102

route-map tag permit 30

router ospf 1
redistribute static subnet route-map tag f0/0

clear ip ospf process

on R2

R2

route-map tag deny 10
match tag 200

route-map tag permit 20

Sheraz
