Thanks for your response -- that is unfortunate.  I even loaded up a 7200
version of 15.x code, and distribute-list STILL doesn't support filtering
based on tagging.

My preferred method for mutual redist is to tag everything on redist and
then filter inbound to prevent all other redist routers from receiving the
routes AT ALL.  This ensures that all routers always prefer the native
prefixes from the correct IGPs, and generally makes things really clean.
 There are a couple of outside cases where this segments route
advertisements in a domain, but has served me well for most use cases.

As a workaround, I'm setting the distance for RIP to 171 on all
mutually-redist'ing RIP routers.  Not great, but it does mean that the
other IGP's prefixes will always be preferred over redistributed routes
that are in RIP.

I'm sure that the code to support filtering RIP based on route maps would
be minimal, but I wonder how much dev work is still going on with a
baked-in tech like RIP anyways?
