I am using OSPF network type - *ip ospf network non broadcast*

consider simple setup

*R1(ip ospf pri 20)  *<--------------------->  R*2 (neighbor R1 pri 30)*

On R1 u have configured pri with interface level command and on R2 u have
configured with neighbor command

as soon as you press enter on R2 u will see pri of 30 in "show ip ospf
nei'' command for neigh R1 but as it receives the hello from R1 it will
override pri whatever is configured on R1 so in this case it will become 20.

so question is if it overrides always dynamically.. in which situation you
will use pri with neighbor command as it doest work anyhow ?
