Sorry to hear. But failing the lab is always a valuable learning experience. 
I've failed twice and am sitting again next week. I also have a CCIE widow for 
a wife currently. My best advice is don't wait too long before picking a date 
to try again. It's easy to wake up 6 months later and realize you forgot most 
of what you studied. Perseverance will win in the end!
