Hello everybody,

Looking the documentation I find the command default-metric “is used to set the
metric value for routes redistributed into BGP and can be applied to any
external BGP (eBGP) routes received and subsequently advertised internally to
iBGP peers. This value is the Multi Exit Discriminator (MED) that is evaluated
by BGP during the best path selection process”. Now on the other hand there is
the command “bgp bestpath med missing-as-worst” that is supposed to give all
MED coming with 0 a value of 4,294,967,294. My question is, would it work if
instead of using the bgp besthpath command I put a default metric of
4,294,967,294?
Thanks!
