Surely Pri 0 would only prevent being involved in the election and so assumes 
you have access to the other switches,
I guess if you were really paranoid, how about an extended access list looking 
for the traffic , then drop it….

Root guard would prevent invalid BPDU’s and from memory is the preferred 
solution ??
Spanning-tree Vlan X Root Pri would help
