Did you set up the softphone to use G729? If so, and IPCC is 711-only
(IPCC is either or, so, if you install it as 711, you need a
transcoder for 729 to talk to it...)...

However, you say you hear dead air... does the call disconnect? Or
does the line stay open?

You may just have a prompt issue....
