I believe someone already answered your question why this isn't working, but
wanted to put this info out there. IPexpert will give you a discount code you
can use to purchase IPBlue. If I remember correctly, it is 25% off. I did
this several months ago and the cost after discount was about $75. If you are
going to be using PL racks a lot, I would reccomend going ahead and purchasing
it. Also works nice for running multiple instances of IPblue for your own lab
if you have to access your equipment remotely.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] IP_Blue .vs. Cisco IP Communicator

Team,

For those of you who use the Proctor Lab equipment, please read on.
Configuration: using EZVPN with Laptop behind it... (2801 - hp laptop)
In my first real working lab yesterday, I configured the IP address of my
laptop lan to match the required PSTN MAC. (mac-changer freeware)

I wanted to run the Cisco IP communicator instead of IP_BLUE so I don't have to
restart every 20 minutes...
When I tried to connect, the IP_Blue connected just fine, but the Cisco IP
communicator said "registration rejected: error mismatch"

They are coming into the Proctor lab with the same IP and MAC... Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

John
