Two questions about dial plan. In the V3 Lab 1 dial plan explanations, the need is discussed for the following patterns to support international dialing out of HQ and BR1.
9.011! 9.011!# If the CCM parameter to strip the # from Called Party Number is set to true (the default), why is the second pattern necessary? Second question: Incoming call from GK to HQ that is TEHO from BR2. The incoming string would be something like: 1#12125551212 The explanation discusses using a translation pattern to strip the 1#, but it occurs to me that you could just have 1#.12125551212 on a route pattern and strip pre dot. Is there something wrong, more time consuming, or something else with this approach? Cliff
