Rtp-nte means you are sending the DMTF signaling inband with the rtp...
add a low bandwidth codec i.e. G729 and then cRTP on top and your DTMF
relay can become - sort of speak lost.. which is why you want to send
the DTMF out of band..

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] V2 - cRTP breaks dtmf rtp-nte

I don't know if this will be different in the V3 IOS, but I recently
found that when I invoked cRTP on a link carrying SIP to CCM, DTMF
stopped working. Apparently the NTE designation is carried in the RTP
header and is not reconstituted correctly under cRTP when it is
compressed/decompressed. I turned it on and off several times just to
check that this was indeed the issue.

Has anyone else encountered this?

TIA,

Art
