Hi All,
I am new to this list. I have taken my CCIE - voice written and now I am
starting with labs. I have a couple of questions that I need to start with
the labs. I have the workbooks and the video lectures from ipexpert.com.
However since I will be using their infrastructure remotely, I will need
some of my own equipment. I have some concerns, if anyone can advise me on
that.

1) I have a cisco 2811 router, 2- 7970 cisco phones, about 2- 7960 cisco
phones, pstn phones, 186 ATA. What more would I need on my part to get
started.

2) The workbooks that are listed on ipexpert.com, I see that they have
listed workbooks for blueprint 3. However there are other workbooks too. So
it may sound a bit naive, but am I supposed to go through the other
workbooks or just focus on workbook listed for blueprint 3?

3) About approaching the preparation for focus labs: How do you suggest me
to work on focus labs. In my current preparation method, i study the video
lecture and then google the technology covered in the video labs. What
additional steps can be suggested so as to bridge the gap between video
lectures and the workbook labs.

Thanks,
Ashfaaq Poonawala
