I've found a couple links about being able to get a console session to an IP phone via the AUX port.Completely unsupported but apparently do-able.
Has anyone messed with this? I have a 7970 that refuses to boot, it flashes but then goes slient. Before I trash it, I figured I would try to find out if it posts an error through this interface.
