So Yes you can get presence status and IM working with other users in the CUCM 
database?

If so I must be missing something.  I have gone over the docs several times and 
cannot get it to populate CUPC with this info under contacts.  If I add the 
user manually it will put it in contacts but not show their presence status.  
If I add the through phone messenger this does not seem to work either
