#1- when CUE is integrated with UCM you will have both CTI QBE signaling
traffic over the WAN which uses DST port TCP 2748. You also have RTP traffic
over the WAN when @HQ or BR1 leaves a voicemail.

#2- You need to install a new license on the CUE in order to integrate with
UCM. On the CUE this is done using the command:

Software install clean url ftp://<IP Address FTP Server>/xxxxxx.pkg username
<username> password <password>

On Proctorlabs we have set up the CCX server as the FTP server with the
appropriate license. I’m guessing it is fair game that Cisco make you do this
in the lab- you should know how to do this in any case. The command in order to
do this in Proctorlabs will be as follows:

se-10-10-202-2# software install clean url ftp://10.10.210.5/
cue-vm-license_12mbx_ccm_7.0.1.pkg username ipexpert pass cisco

Verify that the license is correct (after a reload) by using this command:

se-10-10-202-2# show software license

Also if anyone can share how did they took off the CUE to CME integration and
re-intigrated to CUCM at central site. Did you need to upload new license for
CUE to CUCM integration and how did you swap the lic in that case, would Cisco
replace the CUE-CME lic to CUE-CUCM integration license. Just trying to
understand the process as need to do this for one of my client pls...

If we are to integrate CUE at BR2 site with CUCM on HQ site over the WAN. I
think for WAN BW considerations, we need to just counte CUE to CUCM signaling
traffic as the RTP call will be local to BR2 only in case someone is trying to
call BR2 phone and trying toleave a VM.

Anyone would like to share thier thoughts on it ?
