Wayne is a bit frustrated understandably but stating on a one line that you
contact support will do him a great service. Some customers can be extremely
annoying and that comes with the package when you run a business.

Again Wayne, it is the way you state things. I did not complain about customer
service towards me from Ipexperts. I have never dealt with you personally.
All of the other individuals I have worked with at Ipexerts have been great to
work with. It is your tone in the email you sent that I stated was "horrible
customer service". Please do not try and change the issue. Let's end this
debate and move on to more important things.

By the way no one cares that you are working late on a holiday weekend. I just
finished doing a cut for a customer at 5:30am on a holiday weekend. We all do
it:-)

Also I have tried a competitor and I do feel I get great customer service from
them as I also feel I have got great customer service from IPexperts as well.
I was just referring to your tone in the message you sent. I can assure you
other individuals at Ipexperts have not responded to me in that manner. You
should scale it down a bit. If you cannot take the advice without getting
offended I am sorry. I am just trying to offer some constructive criticism. I
have seen and heard several complaints about Ipexperts on the forums and I
would think every little of bit advice could only help.

Peace out!

Amp -

They were possibly referring to the "Proctor Labs Rack Forum" -
which is often overlooked. Keep in mind - I have no problem providing
guidance to customers - but if and when they refuse to follow basic
procedures and / or are too lazy to read basic instructions (or look
for the answer within an FAQ area) - our time begins to get wasted -
and other customers that have justified support issues then get
neglected. We make it pretty clear where to go to get answers to
basic questions or issues - and in many cases (not all cases, but
frequently) - my support teams spends countless hours providing
guidace and answering questions that could have been answered if that
particular customer took the initiative to follow basic procedures or
read our instructions / directions. Let's face it - if someone can't
follow basic procedures on how to merge files into a web account - or
retrieve a password - their chance at passing the CCIE lab is pretty
slim. A true CCIE candidate should have a little more intelligence
and drive than the average "end user".

Regardless of the issue you were referring to (Amp) - our
support team deals with printing problems, access issues (to files)
and hardware problems (Proctor Labs). This list is for technical
guidance and meant to be used to help teach our customers the
protocols and technologies seen on the lab and discuss questions that
arise as clients complete scenarios seen throughout our products. It's
not meant to be a loud speaker for people who refuse to follow simple
procedures - as many, many people have seen and read - these types of
clients can bring down the quality of the list. My job is to make
sure this list is top notch and used correctly and that basic
questions - or questions that should be directed elsewhere are
funneled in the right direction.

Also - Craig - if you have a problem with how I run this company
and how support is provided - I'd be happy to discuss this over the
phone - I've already pulled your account up and have reviewed EVERY
email and live chat transcript that has ever been sent and received
from you (over the past year and a half) *yes, that's how I spend my
holiday weekends - verifying and resolving customers complaints or
issues*. I feel we've handled your issues pretty damn well. Your
comment about our customer service being "horrible" is out of line and
to be honest - doesn't sit well with me - it's actually quite absurd
and unjustified. If you think our support is "horrible" - I challenge
you to spend a week dealing with the few competitors we have worldwide
- I highly doubt you'll get a response during working hours - let
alone on a holiday weekend at 11:30 PM.

Hey Wayne,
When I had the issue that I had many moons ago I originally went to
the PL forum but as you said, that forum is often overlooked and I
didn't get any response there, that's when I came here to the OSL. I
only brought up that particular incident to suggest that it's possible
that the original poster may have been told the same thing, but in any
case you are absolutely correct, by the time we reach CCIE studies we
should be at a point of knowledge that exceeds the basic problems that
keep popping up. I have been guilty of over-thinking what the problem
IS or COULD be and hitting your support guys or even the OSL up only
to have to admit that I was a complete idiot and the problem was
between the chair and keyboard. I for one appreciate the quality of
this list, which is why I prefer to not go anywhere near the other
lists (just my opinion), so I agree with you not wanting the quality
or integrity of this list to take a downward spiral. Anyway, whatever
you are paying Drew and Ryan probably isn't enough for all the
problems that these two have to sort through.

I would think twice be4 purchasing any ipx products in the future considering
the way we are treated. I'll let all my friends know as well.
