Thanks Sumit,

It doesn't seem like a transcoder issue - I can call in to the pilot
(directly, or with the voicemail button) on the BR1 phone no problems with
g729.

I've confirmed with port monitor that the call is not getting redirected to
Unity at all.

It seems like a "redirection" issue somewhere that the SIP trunk does not
like, but I cannot figure out what.

Hi Ryan,

If you are calling from BR1 to HQ the call will go through the G729 codec,
but looks like your unity supports only G711 codec, so when unity tries to
answer the call you get a fast busy.

Can you check if you can assign the trans coder for the calls going to
unity.

Thanks

I have UC integrated w/SIP to UCM. So far so good, my phones (HQ and BR1)
can dial directly to the Voicemail route pattern and login to their mailbox.

The problem is when BR1 phone calls HQ and vice versa and gets forwarded to
voicemail.there is just a fast busy on the calling phone.

Any ideas?
