I'm going through Volume and and just got to MOH. Unicast worked perfectly once I got my regions correct for the MOH codec. But I couldn't get multicast MOH to work properly, it would work about 1 out of every 20 times I pressed hold. I couldn't tell if it was my switch blocking it or my HQ routers not forwarding it so I just turned off IGMP on my switch and it started working perfectly.
Is IGMP something you guys recommend I spend a lot of time troubleshooting for the test? Or is a pinch should turning it off be ok? I need to perfect it for my real job but that can go into my work's study time and not my CCIE study time. -- Thanks, Mark L Reed
