Hi Experts, I have one query about behaviour of srst mode autoprovision all.
How does the process work ? As far as I understood the first time there's a CUCM fault the phone registers to the CME and provides itself the configuration to the CME. At this point if we edit the configuration of the ephone and ephone-dn for example changing the name and also removing the ephone template which should have been provided by the command under telephony service "srst ephone template 1 "you will see all working fine. My question is what should be the correct behaviour the second time the site invokes the SRST , that is to say they register back to UCM and then again SRST?Should they take the edited configuration with NO srst template and with the changed name ? I suppose that should be the right behaviour but sometimes I hit problems when I try to register the ephones for the second time to SRST and receive in the show ephones the message channel invalid . number 1001 CH1 INVALID CH2 INVALID CH3 INVALID CH4 INVALID CH5 INVALID CH6 INVALID CH7 INVALID CH8 INVALID What's your opinion ? Thanks for any help.
