Hi David,
it happened to me on sept 14 th, cisco gave me a free voucher to retake the
exam. I was upset too, and it just free exam but expenses not inlcuded like
traveling and hotels.

If this happenned to a CCIE Voice candidate , definitely he would have got a
FAIL result. I guess you were lucky because of Routing & Switching Track at
least got a free re-take.

afternoon, a full 24 hours after I left the lab, I got an email. Not
stating that my results were in, but rather that "due to a system
malfunction, we were unable to save your configurations." And they will
do their best to accommodate me on a re-take date. They didn't even
state that the re-take would be free, though I imagine that's implied.
But, even still, the cost of the exam is but a drop in the bucket
compared to all the inconvenience this will cause.
And why does it take 24 hours to tell me that they screwed up? I sat on
pins and needles waiting for the results. I really feel like I've been
treated like dirt here.
Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? I'm outraged!
