Guten Tag Markus,

The queue duplication is by design (although I’m not sure why). This has
been in the codebase since queues were first added – basically the only
project that can be duplicated is the currently building project. Any
project that is pending cannot be duplicated in the queue.

I’ve also fixed the translation – this was due to a bug in the template.

It wasn’t possible to display the build stage – this was due to the
formatting occurring in the code, not in the template. So I have moved the
formatting to a common local where it can be used in both the grid and the
project report. I’ve also added the build stage information to this template
by default, since I also think it is useful information.

Finally, the language detection is based on the browser – so whatever
language string the browser is sending is what the language will be
(assuming CC.NET has a translation for it.) However considering the number
of requests we’ve had to turn it off, I’ve changed CC.NET to have a fixed
language if desired. This is done by adding a new appSetting to the
web.config:

<add key="language" value="en-NZ" />

Where the value is the language – this needs to also include the region
otherwise the formatting in .NET doesn’t like it L

These changes will be in the latest build on ccnetlive –
http://ccnetlive.thoughtworks.com/CCNet-builds/1.5.0/

Hope this helps,

Craig

Subject: [ccnet-user] Project twice in build - feature?

Hallo!

I am using the 1.5 RC Version of cruise control.Net.

I just noticed that one project is now twice in the queue.

I have configured five project to use the same queue (R2), with “ProjectA”
having the highest priority. Is started ProjectB,ProjectC and ProjectD
manually (“force”), and I think I double clicked on ProjectB

Now my queue is:

ProjectB (building)

ProjectA (added automatically because of svn changes I guess)

ProjectB

ProjectC

ProjectD

Is that by design or could that be a bug? Project B,C,D have no automatic
triggers, at first I thought it was just rescheduled to see if there are svn
changed, but it is actually a manual-build project.

Btw, in the Queue status display web page (ViewServerQueues.aspx), there is
a translation missing (for german): the third column “Zustand” (state)
displays following text:

$translations.Translate($project.Activity)

And while I am at it ;-), how can I change the template so that the build
status (“building ..”) that is displayed in ViewFarmReport.aspx is also
displayed when I am directly in the project page (ViewProjectReport.aspx)?

I find that information really useful, and most of the time I directly go to
that page and not the ViewFarmReport page.

And finally, another question: ist there a configuration option to always
display English translations?

Markus
