Hi, We're using VSS for our SourceControl block but it makes files in the working directory writeable. I'd expect them to be read-only as they are when doing a manual get latest version from SourceSafe. I can set them to read-only afterwards using a batch file but am I missing any setting that would make them read-only?
The reason I want them read-only is that I want to ensure that the checkout and update of assemblyinfo files is successful i.e it'll fail if the files are still read-only. Thanks, Neil Blackburn -- To unsubscribe, reply using "remove me" as the subject.
