I also agree with Martyn.  
Perhaps I shouldn't admit it, but I learned alot from the ligation woes discourse
and happened to be having a similar ongoing chronic problem with one of our clones.
The weird thing is, that when the off topic subjects come up, they are frequently
very timely.

Hmmm, I thought this suggestion would come up sooner
or later.

My understanding is that the value people get out
of ccp4bb is that their questions reach the whole
community. Splitting up ccp4bb will dilute that
benefit.

We will never get a service that everyone likes,
but my feeling is that most people are happy most
of the time.

Regarding missing posts: subscribers should use
informative subject lines, so that readers can
decide quickly between read and delete. If subscribers
omit a Subject, or use a misleading one, then they
only have themselves to blame if their messages are
ignored.
