You can do it with mtzutils hklin1 x.mtz
RESO 4.5 2.2

Although one wonders why you would want to do this?

Hi there. I'm trying to delete reflections lower than 4.5A from an mtz file (P212121, 54x65x132). I used sftools from ccp4i, set it to 'delete reflections' and tell it to keep all reflections with a maximum resolution of 2.2A and minimum of 4.5A. The program finishes ok but the resulting mtz contains only reflxns up to 0 12 52 (h never > 0). Then it repeats 0 12 52 many times over for the bulk of the output mtz. I've tried various permutations of this setting, and just as a test, i set sftools in delete reflections mode, and then told it to keep all the reflections : same thing happens. Any help would be appreciated!

Alan
