Dear Vincenzo,
Very often it works not to use any cryoprotectant at all, and just to
dip the crystal with its loop briefly into paraffine oil. I used the one
which was sold some time ago as part of the panjelly kit by Jena
Biosciences and had a lot of very positive experiences, as long as the
crystals have a reasonable size (not too small and not too big)and a
compact shape.
