Description: A postdoctoral position is immediately available to
study
structure and function of proteins or protein complexes related to
bacterial or
viral infection and host response. The position is funded for 1 year
through a
research grant from the NIH, and may be extended to a second year
dependent
upon the availability of funding and satisfactory performance. The
successful
candidate should have a recent Ph.D. degree with highly motivation and
interest
in structure biology. Experiences in molecular biology, protein
_expression_ and
purification, and/or crystallography will be advantaged. Position is at
the Wadsworth Center
(http://www.wadsworth.org),
a state-of-the-art facility of the New York State Department of Health
and the
Department of Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York-Albany.
The
