All I can add to the message of Jacob Corn from three days ago, is the following link:

I re-attach Jacob's message - to be sure.

Shivesh,
Why not check out the pymol wiki:
http://www.pymolwiki.org

The page describing ball-and-stick display is
http://www.pymolwiki.org/index.php/Ball_and_Stick

There is also a pymol-specific mailing list at
http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=4546
with a searchable archive.

Jacob

And sorry if I get annoying, but please, the ccp4bb is such a great resource,
I really value it very highly, but its not a substitute for:
* manuals
* help pages
* wiki
* group leaders

And to a lesser extent its not a substitute for
* the pymol mail list,
* the cns mail list
* the phenix mail list
* the O mail list
* the coot mail list

Last but not least, google really works as well.

I think I have helped enough people in private and in public at ccp4bb,
and most important I was helped by many others when I asked questions,
that I can take once more the liberty to make  such a comment
and to plead once again for common sense.

I still learn so much from ccp4bb (eg the discussion today between Ian and Phil)
that I would hate to stop reading it - but I am about to give up and I don't think I am the only one.

A.
