MRC Ph.D Studentship in Structural Biology starting October 2007

Applications are invited for a 3-year PhD Studentship to join the Division of 
Structural Biology at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics (University 
of Oxford) in the group of Dr. Erika Mancini.  The PhD project concerns the 
structural and functional characterisation of mammalian chromatin remodelling 
ATPases. 
Ideal candidates will have a strong educational background in biochemistry and 
molecular biology. It is of advantage, but not necessary, for the candidate to 
have some experience in cloning, mutagenesis, protein expression, purification 
and crystallographic techniques.

Interviews will be held on 30th November 2006. 

These Studentships are funded by the Medical Research Council and provide 
financial support for fees and stipend. They are subject residency and 
eligibility requirements and are therefore not suitable for international
