Post-doctoral Research Associate at the Macromolecular Crystallography
Group at the CNIO, founded by the Consolider project Centrosome_3D
A Postdoctoral Fellow is required for a three year research project,
working in the Macromolecular Crystallography Group at the CNIO. The
successful applicant will undertake research projects focusing primarily
on the structure of proteins and protein complexes related to the
centrosome. The applicant should integrate structural, cellular,
molecular and biochemical methods. Applicants should have a PhD or
equivalent experience, a good publication record, and should have some
experience in Structural Biology, specifically in the X-ray
crystallography of proteins. Experience in expressing eukaryotic
proteins or in some aspect of Cell Biology would be an advantage.

Technical assistant at the Macromolecular Crystallography Group at the
CNIO, founded by the Consolider project Centrosome_3D
A technical assistant is requiered for a four year research project ,
working at the Macromolecular Crystallography group at the CNIO. The
succesful applicant will undertake research projects focusing in cloning
a variety of centrosomal genes. Expertise in cloning and protein
expresion methods is essential. Experience in protein purification and
protein characterization would be an advantage. A BSc degree or
equivalent is requiered.

The Department is equipped with state-of-the-art protein expression and
purification apparatus, including high-throughput facilities. The
crystallographic equipment includes nano-drop crystallization robots, a
rotating anode generator with image plate detector, and cutting-edge
computational facilities.
