INSTRUCT will be hosting a workshop on the PIMS laboratory information 
management system. PiMS supports the recording and organisation of data 
generated during the multi-stage process from the selection of a Target to its 
purification, in readiness for structure determination.

The workshop will be held at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxford starting 
at 10.30am on Tuesday 13th July and finishing by 3.30pm. INSTRUCT will provide 
financial support for travelling costs.

The workshop will include demonstrations from scientists, based at the 
University of York, University of Oxford and EMBL Hamburg, who are currently 
using PiMS to record their data.

Participants will receive userids on the public PIMS server at 
http://pims.instruct-fp7.eu:8080/pims/Login.
