Dear All, The Integral Membrane Protein group at the SGC in Oxford is looking for a post-doctoral research scientist with experience in purification and crystallisation of membrane proteins. In the past year we have developed a pipeline for the production of human membrane proteins in the baculovirus/insect cell expression system. We are now optimizing purification and crystallisation protocols for a series of well-expressed and purified membrane proteins in a broad spectrum of families, including GPCRs, channels, solute carriers, ABC transporters and enzymes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated scientist to join our team of 12 membrane protein scientists to help with this work.
